Alexandra Feodorovna Romanov (1872—1918), was the last Tsarina of the Russian Empire, granddaughter of Queen Victoria of the UK, and mother of Alexi, Anastasia and 3 other girls. She was a carrier of the hemophilia gene and passed it on to her son Alexi. The Russian Orthodox Church canonized her as a saint in 2000.
