Grand Duke Vladimir Kirillovich of Russia (30 August 1917--21 April 1991), 3rd and youngest child and only son of Grand Duchess Victoria Melita and 2nd husband GD Kirill of Russia. Vladimir became Head of the Imperial House of Russia upon the death of his father in 1938. Living in France during WWII, Vladimir was imprisoned by the Germans for refusing to call on Russian emigres to support Hitler's war against the Soviets. After the war Vladimir settled in Spain. He died in Miami, FL in 1992
