Frank Eaton, aka "Pistol Pete". In the late 1860's, 8 yr. old Eaton witnessed six men kill his father. In 1875, when he was 15, he learned the whereabouts of his father's killers. But before setting off on his mission to avenge his father's death, he decided to visit Ft. Gibson, OK, a cavalry fort, to learn more about handling a gun. He learned well, and out shot everyone at the fort, thus earning him the nickname "Pistol Pete". Later in life, he moved to OK. Territory and became a U.S. Marshal.
