2nd President John Adams ~ Died age 91, becoming the last surviving person to sign the Declaration of Independence. He lived for 8 more years after his wife's death in 1818, dying the same day as his friend Thomas Jefferson died, both on the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration. Moments before the crusty old guarder's death, he mumbled the words "Thomas Jefferson survives!"; not knowing his friend had died earlier that morning.
